Beauty from the Inside Out
From high street-bought cosmetics all the way to stretching and reshaping the body in complex procedures, the beauty industry is worth billions. These approaches can be both expensive and time-consuming and also hit-and-miss, even though the technology is getting better by the minute.
Most people want to feel attractive. That’s what’s behind it all, whatever the specific outer change they are seeking. It’s the feeling that matters, because you can change your body all your want but if you don’t feel attractive and good about yourself at the end of it you’re back to square one and you’ll just look to change something else.
But mentioning feelings is so much more than saying it’s ‘just a feeling’. Feelings, I’ve found, are barometers of something a lot more significant than a momentary sensation. They are indicative of the channel you are tuned to and the life you are living.
When people do the inner work and accomplish feeling genuinely beautiful, they exude being genuinely beautiful. I don’t mean this in some deluded way, but for real. I’ve seen the actual changes from doing this work time and again. I’m not talking about people having a cheerful or happy personality (though that’s a nice step one) – but a tangible, physical shift in their physical appearance in a way that rivals any other approach. I wrote about this in my last book with a technique of mine called the Confidence Evoke. And since writing the book, I’ve gathered more evidence and developed more practical ways to apply this work and witnessed even more powerful results.
The idea of shifting the way you feel about yourself sounds easy and too-good-to-be-true but it’s not easy. For example, feeling something which you may not currently believe, especially when outside evidence is telling you a different story, is not something most people can do straight-off. The physical mirror, too, often challenges the inner feeling and for most people wins-out over it. Because it’s not about pretending or faking it until you make it. That’s not enough.
This ‘vibrational’ approach to beauty is the kind of thing people often have to really explore themselves before they fully believe – and that’s OK. Making an actual attitudinal shift takes effort and know-how, that’s why most people don’t do it for long enough to see results, and instead complain that this mind stuff is all fad or gimmick or ridiculous.
Doing the Inner Work
People are preoccupied by the world they can see with their senses – including their reflection in the mirror – unaware that there is another world, invisible to the outer eye, which is hugely significant. Making the attunement within shifts the outer.
When it comes to cosmetic procedures, there are people who go into them from deep insecurity and end up with results that they are insecure about, so nothing really changes. I’ve also known people do the inner work first – dealing with their insecurity in other words – and being led to the ideal treatment (a new friend at a dinner party is talking about it or someone she’s dating turns out to be a specialist are amongst the stories of synchronicity I’ve heard).
Through my work, I’ve had someone sent to me from a well-known cosmetic clinic whose owner felt my coaching work would compliment the clinic’s work. So no, I’m not against cosmetic work, I just recommend if people are guided to go down that route that they also deal with their emotions; their vibrational alignment. I suggest doing the inner work no matter what action choices someone makes.
Change Within and the Outer Changes – the New Science
However some people I have worked with have improved their looks without cosmetic treatments – with just the vibrational alignment alone. It sounds far fetched, like science-fiction, but it’s not. It’s science. It may not be a universally accepted science, but it is science.
Although various authors have talked about Metaphysics and Quantum Mechanics for decades, but there’s still something about it that hasn’t quite landed. Both subjects have been overly simplified and also the evidence hasn’t been that impressive. I’d see a lot of talk, but where were the results?
So when I went into my own research, I was coming from this down-to-earth space. I approached my work like a scientist and a journalist (coming from a background in both). I wasn’t interested in publishing anything until I’d seen results for myself, not just a few times but many times. I’ve worked with thousands of people over the years through my groups and workshops. And I came to some powerful conclusions, such as it was less important the action route someone took and more the mindset that led to success.
Conventional science has always left out emotions instead focusing on reason and rationale, and that’s why it’s been such a slow advancement. As a result, it’s still way off solutions on so many subjects, and behind its confident persona, is a lot more bewildered that you might think as to how everything works. Luckily, there is a new – yet at the same time ancient – approach which can work alongside or even supersede that which has gone before. Not just with looks and physical appearance, but with your entire life.
